A federal judge threw out the bankruptcy case of rap artist DMX on Friday, November 8 after he was cited for being non-compliant throughout the legal process. Bankruptcy Court Judge Robert Drain dismissed his petition for Chapter 11.

The 42-year-old rapper, whose real name is Earl Simmons, is set to lose his personal properties after he lost the protection that bankruptcy affords debtors against creditors.

The dismissal was requested by U.S. Trustee Tracy Hope Davis after discovering lapses in the financial information provided by DMX. According to reports, the rapper’s biggest debt is the $1.3 million worth of child support to some of his children.

In an email written by Domenick Nati, DMX’s publicist, Nati stated that DMX and his team do not plan to change their plans for moving forward with future shows.
