Harry & David Holdings Inc., have filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy after a large sales decline in 2010.

According to U.S. bankruptcy documents, Harry & David,  has said that they struck a deal with holders for about $160 million. The fruit merchant and fruit basket seller has listed their assets and debts at $500 million.

The company has a distribution center in Hebron and two stores in Ohio, one in Columbus and one in Florida. The company had 70 chains, but 52 of the unprofitable ones were already shut down as they moved to bankruptcy protection.
