The northeast region in Ohio has seen a decrease in personal bankruptcy. There was a 12 percent decline in the month of November alone.

This trend is not only in regions in Ohio, but are also seen across the nation. November was also the third straight month that there has been a decline in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy.

Through the first 11 months of the year, the region has seen a four percent decline. The U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Toledo, which oversees 21 counties, is down from 635 to 556 during this month last year.
